So I was on the Release notes feedback page (groundspeak) and I see a note that VP's last cache has 42 photos on the log. Then I remember he said he was going to be spending 4 days on one cache. I had to have a look.

Easy to do, most recent find and all. You're right VP, the photos do all the talking. I have never seen or even heard of rillenkarren before today, amazing stuff. The photos shot from in the tent and through the morning (6, 7 & 8 ), incredible! Beaver rock, very cool.

What a glorious setting for your adventure. thanks for sharing...

Thanks MCH.

Yeah, I was just gobsmacked by the stunning beauty of the place; it was totally over the top, especially with the perfect weather by day and full moon by night. Taking good pictures there is like shooting fish in a barrel.

If the place was only a 1/2 day hike to get in, instead of a 2 day hike, it'd be world famous.

Best hike ever, in my mind. It dethroned Northover Ridge, which dethroned Skyline Trail. Those are tough acts to follow. (BTW, from the high point - the nub - we could see Northover Ridge just a few km to the north.)

There are more pictures by the cache owner if you follow the Related Web Page link on the cache page, and there should be a jbeck2 log coming shortly too; those are always entertaining.
