Moving right along...

Which active Edmonton cache container is hiding in this map?

To be honest, I don't remember where this one is myself. I'll have to consult those maps again!

Please post your guesses (or boldly confident assertions of fact) as a reply below.

Cheers,
VP

Wow. There are a whole bunch of creek bends in the city that look like this. I need more time to study the non-water features to narrow down my search. No need for a bigger map quite yet....

Care to furbish us with a hint? Any creek bend I've checked doesn't appear to have any of the other features shown. I really still have no idea where this is!

(Is that a typo, or creative English, or do you just have a cold?)

Well, it's nice to know that at least Time & Space are working on it! Here's a slightly zoomed-back view:

Does it jump out now?

(Heck, nowadays I could just post any random bit of parkland, and figure out later what geocache is there, on the fairly safe asssumption that there has to be at least one!)

Cheers,
VP

I could've sworn I replied to this post long ago, but it's gone. Anyway...

I couldn't find any "Cool Kids" cache in my "nearest caches" search, but it doesn't matter, because the challenge is to identify the active cache in the picture. So that's not it, sorry.

I finally found the sucker!

TNLNSL #5 - Edmonton by thisismeisthatu

I had checked over the Whitemud Ravine countless times, but didn't see the resemblance before. I guess I was fooled by the picture being turned basically 180-degrees (i.e. upside-down).

VP: Thanks for being patient. I do still hope you have more MapSpot pictures to post!

You did! Congratulations. And yes, I turned it upside-down to mess with your head - I like doing that.

Stay tuned. Time to digitize more maps...

Cheers,
VP
