|Celebrate Father's day - Geocaching Style
The Musée St Paul Museum designs an annual geotour that changes every year ... (you are invited to walk through the museum exhibits looking at the different displays, collecting clues that will provide you with the location for the cache) - the geotour will take you approx. 30 to 60 min. to complete. THE GEOTOUR IS AVAILABLE ALL SUMMER LONG (if you can't make it to the event today).
This year the Museum is proud to host the Association of Land Surveyors of Alberta's traveling exhibit on how early surveyors originally overcame many challenges, and drew the lines on the landscape that still shape our province today. We will also showcase veterinary medicine over time, as well as other smaller display changes to the extensive displays available for viewing.
There will be a Free lunch, Entertainment and Free Access to the Museum Today only (which is wheelchair accessible and a wheelchair is available).
The Event will run at the Musée St Paul Museum (5413 – 50 Avenue St. Paul, AB), from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please remember to log "will attend" and please include the number of people in your group - it will help with planning the amount of food.
New for 2015, Play an old time game, 'Find the Thimble' ... a thimble will be hidden in plain view, somewhere in the museum... If you can find it, you can enter your name for a $100 prize draw to be done in September 2015!
Lots to see, do and eat ... come one, come all smile emoticon
Looking forward to seeing you all at the geotour - Rain or Shine! (the museum has a large covered deck and the geotour is indoors)
St Paul, Ab is approx. 2 hrs NE of Edmonton
For those who enjoy hiking, there is a power trail, along a quad trail through crown land with larger caches just 15 min. South of St Paul. (#1 Perch Lake Series - Earn OPTIONAL Certificate - GC3CAA1)
